What is a moisture map and why is it important when understanding water damage?
Moisture mapping is basically mapping where the moisture has spread and enables us to quickly find the amount of damage caused by leak or flood. Moisture mapping will also help find other sources of moisture ingress that are not the cause of the original leak.
At Reactive Restoration we have a unique mapping tool where we not only produce a 3D map but also, we can use actual images and highlight on top of these the exact moisture levels surveyed.
When we undertake a moisture map at our initial visit, we will usually do this in a non-intrusive method– we won’t start drilling into your property!
